Website Design, Impact, and User-Friendliness

Still using Notepad to do your HTML editing? Well, with all the innovations and developments in website design London and construction today, you might want to step it up. Oh, and leveling up to Word won’t accomplish much compared to software like Dreamweaver. But regardless of your choice of HTML editors, there’s still a lot of equilibrium you need to achieve when designing and constructing a website. One of them is the quality of website design versus website monetization. But if you’re using HTML editors that pretty much automate the line per line programming nature of Notepad to the point that all you do is drag and drop, click ok, and save, then there’s one more balancing act you need to focus on: impact versus user-friendliness.

The core quality concepts that can make a success out of a website are simple and effective. Keep everything simple, ensure the uniqueness of the website design such that it makes a lasting impact on the site’s visitors but don’t make it too overwhelming as to intimidate. With HTML editors that bring you the ease and convenience of not typing in even a single line of HTML code when constructing webpages, there’s a big possibility that you can tend to stuff your website with too many features or information.

Too many navigational tools or having too many versions of a single tool that all do the same thing can potentially backfire, for instance. Instead of making it easier for the infrequent internet surfer to navigate through your webpage, you may end up confusing him instead. Plus, with all that content jammed into a webpage, it can take a toll on your website’s load time. Most people wouldn’t sit and wait for a page to load for more than five seconds. There are other things you can do or add too much of that makes your website not too user-friendly, so be careful to avoid those easy mistakes.
